Manchester United hero Phil Neville wants his former side’s manager Jose Mourinho to sign Mesut Ozil from Arsenal after the German international scored a superb goal for the Gunners against Newcastle United in the premier league on Saturday.
Ozil scored a wonderful volley in the 25th minute which earned all three points for Arsenal.
The talented player has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United and it appears he is destined to reunite with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
It seems the Portuguese manager has also sent a plea to the management at Old Trafford to do all it takes to sign Ozil, amid his links with La Liga giants Barcelona.
Mesut is out of contract at Manchester United next summer, and the red devils could bid for him in the winter transfer window to avoid losing him on the open market when summer comes.
And former Man United player Gary Neville has begged Jose to do all it takes to bring Ozil to Old Trafford after the player scored the superb goal against Rafa Benitez’s side on Saturday.
Apparently impressed with Mesut’s volley, the former Everton captain took to Twitter to hail the German and added: ‘Sign him Jose’.
Herinkh Mkhitaryan is currently not in the good books of Mourinho at Old Trafford and there were reports the duo recently clashed on the training ground.
