Conte to let ₤33m-rated star leave in January

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte is set to release striker Michy Batshuayi for a possible loan move in January.
Reports say the Italian manager is ready to release the ₤33 million man to be loaned out of the club in January as he looks to target a new striker in the window.

The ex-Marseille frontman has found the back of the net only twice this season as he has found regular opportunities hard to come by in his second season at the club. Considering the world cup is 6 months away and also considering he harbours hopes of representing his country Belgium, in the football showpiece, a loan move away might just be in his best interest.

West Ham were credited with an interest last season and will probably show interest again given their struggles in front of goal this season. Other clubs in the league are also ready to join the race.

Batshauyi has scored some very important goals so far in his Chelsea career including; last season’s title clinching goal as well as a late winner away to Atletico earlier this season.

On their part, Chelsea will be looking to add a new striker to their ranks to rival Alvaro Morata for a starting shirt. With this, a few names are expected to be linked with the Stamford Bridge club in the coming weeks.
