Chelsea boss Antonio Conte believes Chelsea star, Eden Hazard is not at his peak yet and sees his best football still ahead of him. The Italian manager believes the midfielder can win the Ballon dór and will like him to achieve this at current side Chelsea amid growing reports of contract negotiations stalling.
Hazard was on red-hot form on Saturday, scoring twice as his team defeated visitors Newcastle United 3-1 at Stamford Bridge. This was in a continuance of his recent form where he has scored 8 goals in his last 10 matches in all competitions.
Conte was in awe of his star man’s latest contribution while speaking with journalists as the ongoing subject of new contracts for Hazard and his Belgium international teammate Thibaut Courtois were again brought up.
“I will be very happy when Hazard and Courtous sign new deal at Chelsea. They are great players with a lot of time and space for improvement and it will be great to keep them both at Chelsea.”
On Hazard, he continued
“But if you ask me I don’t think Eden is at the peak of his career yet. I think he is young with a lot of time ahead and e has a lot of improvement (to make). It’s important for him to work hard, work, work in every training session to improve himself in other to display a great kind of performance performance.
Hazard is a two-time Premier League champion and his manager believes he can be the best in world by winning more trophies;
