Barcelona Eye Chelsea Forward

Spanish club and European powerhouse Barcelona are rumoured to be on the tail of Chelsea forward, as they look to bolster their ranks.

The Catalans were turned down by Liverpool following their public thirst for the presence of Brazilian forward Phillipe Coutinho. However, this time around, they have turned their focus toward another Brazilian who plies his trade in the English Premier League, but with a different club.

Chelsea forward Willian is the subject of a transfer rumour bursting out from the Catalan giants. The Brazil international has seen fewer games this season, losing his place in the starting XI to former Barca player, Pedro.

Willian is widely regarded as an unhappy player at the Stamford Bridge, despite turning out amazing performances including the goal he scored at the weekend to cancel Liverpool’s goal, ensuring the spoils were shared between the two English Premier League giants.

There are rumours Real Madrid could also be interested in the pacy forward. However, the veracity of this claim might be far from the truth as the Los Blancos have more than enough wingers within their squad.

For Willian to leave Chelsea, Barcelona will have to cough up nothing less than £40m as that is the ideal valuation of the player by the Chelsea board.
