According to RMC Sports, Real Madrid are looking to bolster their team’s performance by signing up this Chelsea player.
Brazil international and former PSG player David Luiz is set to join the Spanish champions following his clash with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.
The Italian manager, Antonio Conte, has publicly criticized the player’s attitude both on and off the pitch. He has subsequently left the powerful defender on the bench during matches which has angered the Brazilian.
As a result, the Brazil international is expected to leave the club in the January transfer window. David Luiz is currently injured and unable to train with the rest of the Chelsea squad. However, there are rumours in the media saying the injury might be a false one.
Nonetheless, Zinedine Zidane has highlighted the former PSG defender as the man to give his team the balance and rigidity they lack at the back.
Los Blancos have conceded goals in almost all the matches played this season. And with Sergio Ramos out injured, there is a need for an able defender who can control situations with tranquillity and experience at the back.
Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is not expected to sell any player as his sole focus is on strengthening his squad to retain the UEFA Champions League and the Spanish La Liga titles.
