Manchester United are on the brink of losing one of their core players to rivals Manchester City if the Citizens secure the signature of the United player they are monitoring.
England international, Marcus Rashford, is being monitored by scouts from Manchester City, and City have made enquiries about the youngster’s transfer status.
English Premier League table toppers, Manchester City are ready to make a move for the youngster, and hope to bring him to the Etihad Stadium if his presence is deemed surplus at Old Trafford.
Rashford, 20, has recently been rumoured to be on Pep Guardiola’s winter transfer list. The City manager is not relenting on the performances his team has displayed so far in the 2017/18 season. He wants to add more firepower and make competition for places as tough as possible.
He is also of the belief that Rashford is a good addition to his side, especially with his pace and experience at a big club like United.
The Old Trafford club are not ready to sell the youngster. However, they might be tempted to do so if Manchester City tender an incredible offer in the bracket of Dembele and Mbappe’s transfer fees.
The Old Trafford board believes Marcus Rashford commands similar performances to other youngsters such as Dembele and Mbappe. As such, his transfer fee is expected to be in that region.
