Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte has signalled to the board that he is unhappy with the dealings of last summer.
He has, therefore, told the appropriate persons that he wants a more proactive approach during the winter transfer.
The Italian manager, who last season led Chelsea to a second EPL title in three years, is rumoured to have told Chelsea that they will be left behind the pack if they do not sign incredible players come January.
According to close sources, Antonio Conte believes Manchester City are almost impossible to catch.
He openly said “If you want to reach something important, it’s very important to have a good balance.”
He doesn’t see Chelsea as the team that possesses the “balance” they had last season, especially following the departure of Nemanja Matic from the Stamford Bridge, going on to team up with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
The midfielder has given United the balance they lacked last season, despite their own shortcomings too.
The Blues manager admitted that the failure to sign Romelu Lukaku, Antonio Candreva, Ross Barkley, Virgil Van, and others has hampered the progress of things at Stamford Bridge when on the pitch.
The Italian has reiterated that he doesn’t want such misfortune to resurface come January, privately telling Chelsea board to get embraced for the January transfer tussle.
