Former Arsenal player Ian Wright is supporting Mesut Ozil to join Manchester United next year as he believes his former side has failed the German star.
Ian believes Manchester United is the best club for the former Real Madrid playemaker, and he believes the talented player is capable of ‘lighting up’ Jose Mourinho’s team should he join the red devils.
Ozil is approaching the final six months of his Arsenal contract and will be allowed to hold meetings with other clubs when January comes.
La Liga giants Barcelona have been strongly linked with a move for the player and there were speculations that the board at Camp Nou have split over a potential bid for him.
Manchester United are understood to be monitoring Ozil’s situation and Ian believes the red devils are the best club that can get the best from Mesut.
Speaking recently, Wright suggests Arsene Wenger hasn’t got the best out of the player consistently since bringing him over from Real Madrid.
Ozil himself is said to be interested in reuniting with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, after playing under the Portuguese tactician back then at the Bernabeu few years back.
We look forward to what will become of the German star in the nearest future, and we awaits his big surprise.
