Undoubtedly, this is the last news update Chelsea fans wanted to read as their team is currently building up some momentum, but Italian tactician Antonio Conte has been strongly linked with other managerial jobs once again.

The former Juventus manager has been strongly linked with the vacant Italian national manager’s job – the role he left to join the West London club.

Talking in Gazzetta dello Sport, Italian chief Carlo Tavecchio mentioned names like Juventus boss Max Allegri and former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini, whereas Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was “hot”.

As a matter of fact, there does not seem much of a chance that the Chelsea tactician would leave Chelsea now and join Italy. Not just that he has only recently left that role, the National team have missed out on the FIFA World Cup next summer in Russia. So the manager would have nothing to do until the qualifying series starts for the 2020 European Championships.

It looks more likely that Carlo Tavecchio is trying hard to save his job – his job is very much under severe threat presently – by claiming that he’s in talks with the very top managers. And that includes current Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, luckily for the blues.
