According to reports, Manchester United are not pleased with Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s current form at the club, and even manager Jose Mourinho is said to be losing patience already.
Henrikh moved to Old Trafford last year and was able to adapt quickly to life at his new club, performing well above average last season.
The Armenian is however currently battling with form and fitness this season, and he lost his place to Mourinho’s starting lineup for the premier league game against Newcastle United on Saturday.
And while the Portuguese tactician claimed he dropped the playmaker due to ‘tactical reasons’, there are new reports that Mourinho and other staff have big reservations about his suitability to the club and the premier league at large.
Everyone thought things would be fine with him when he provided five assists in his first three premier league games this season, but he has however not recorded an assist since September.
Jose dropped him during the game against Huddersfield few weeks ago, and he went on to ignore him once more on Saturday against Newcastle.
It was also added that the manager is considering giving him a period of rest to build up some energy ahead of the coming weeks.
Paul Pogba is back to full fitness, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has also suggested he’s taking up a new No. 10 role.
