Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte thinks that if the Blues are to catch up with League leaders Manchester City at the apex of the league table, they must win every match between this moment and the end of the Premier League season.

The Italian tactician addressed the World media before his team’s victorious clash with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday and, as cited by the Independent, disclosed this on the Premier League title race.

“Now City is playing pretty well. If Chelsea wants to try to catch Man City, we have to win every match. If Chelsea wants to try to battle for the League title, it’s very important not to drop any points”.

Although Antonio Conte is not ready to concede the Premier League title at this early stage of the season, he did accept that it would take something special for the reigning Champions to reach Manchester City given the Citizen’s flying start.

Pep Guardiola’s side are currently flying high at the top of the English top flight log and are already nine points ahead of the Blues, who occupy 4th position narrowly behind London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

The Italian tactician knows that his team must keep up the pressure on Guardiola’s team in the hope that City slips up.
