According to new reports, Jose Mourinho’s Man United are preparing a third bid for Real Madrid star player Gareth Bale, and the La Liga club are also ready to allow him leave.
Mourinho is understood to be a huge fan of the Welsh star player and is interested in bringing him over to Old Trafford despite the player’s poor recent injury record.
The Wales international missed 40 of his side’s last 60 matches, and it was made known that the Champions League winners are set to sell him after five years at the Bernabeu.
And new reports indicate that Jose is hoping to finally land the former Tottenham Hotspur player.
The Old Trafford club couldn’t get Gareth’s signature when he first left White Hart Lane for a world-record fee back in 2013, and they also made an attempt to sign him last year before he signed a new deal with Zindedine Zidane’s side.
It was however made known that they won’t be relenting in their pursuit of the player, and that they believe Jose could help him solve his fitness issues at Man United.
Nevertheless, the report also added that before the Champions League winners will allow him to leave, they would demand something close to the £85million they paid Tottenham for him five years ago.
