According to reports, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho kept a close watch on Emil Forsberg during the Italy Vs Sweden game last Friday.
The RB Leipzig star player was linked with a move to the Premier League this summer following his impressive performances at the Bundesliga club.
His impressive performances caught the attention of top English clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, and it is understood that the English clubs are all weighing up offers in the region of £20 million for the Swedish international.
Man United boss Jose Mourinho watched the World Cup playoff between Sweden and Italy at the Friends Arena last Friday alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic. And there were reports the Portuguese tactician was there to scout Emil.
Forsberg was one of RB Leipzig’s best performers last term and played a big role helping them finish second in the Bundesliga, getting a Champions League ticket in the process.
Emil also ended the season with 19 assists – more than any other player in the Bundesliga, and he has shown how talented he is.
He usually play on the left side of the midfield at his club, and Man United boss Mourinho has made it known that he is looking to strengthen his squad in the wide attacking areas.
Emil is likely to play in the World Cup next year if his country can get at least a draw against Italy in the second leg of their World Cup play-off on Monday.
