Chelsea, Tottenham, Everton, Arsenal, and Manchester City are all closely watching Luke Shaw’s contract situation at Premier League side Manchester United.
According to The Telegraph, all five English clubs are closely watching with Jose Mourinho readying to axe the left-back in the new year.
Manchester United have recently renewed the defender’s contract and extend it until the summer of 2019 through a major clause in his deal.
Despite their desire to cash in on the defender, the Red Devils believe by adding an extra year to his United deal they can add some figure to his valuation.
Manchester United paid Southampton about £28m for the left-back and hope to recoup some of the figures back.
Turkish side Fenerbahce are keen on taking the left-back on loan in the winter, but Luke Shaw is not interested in a temporary transfer to Turkey.
Jose Mourinho was critical of the player’s stance to move to join United when he was in charge at Chelsea and the defender has failed to impress the manager at Manchester United.
In other news, according to The Sun, French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko got injured in the middle of France’s training session and was forced off prematurely to receive quick treatment.
