Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham has hailed the Manchester United duo of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, admitting that the pair gave him belief as a player.

The talented player is currently on loan at Swansea City and has made great strides in his development this term with his impressive performances.

This season so far, he has scored four times in the premier league, and has been invited by Gareth Southgate to play in the England senior side for the ongoing international break.

And since meeting up with the national side, the Man United duo of Marcus and Jesse have made an impression on Tammy, who has heaped lots of praises on them.

Speaking ahead of England friendlies with Germany and Brazil, Tammy described the atmosphere in the camp as a morale-boosting one, admitting the youngsters at training are ‘bubbly’, and that the confidence of both Rashford and Lingard gives him a nice belief of himself.

Tammy also added that although he is focusing on Swansea, his major aim is to be in the Chelsea squad at Stamford Bridge, confessing it won’t be something that can be achieved easily.

Abraham is one of the three strikers in Gareth Southgate’s team, and he will definitely have the chance to prove himself against Germany and Brazil.

‘I want to show the world what I am truly made of.’ he said.
