Manchester United star player Anthony Martial has confessed he is growing frustrated with his lack of starting opportunities in Jose Mourinho’s team.

The Frenchman struggled during the new manager’s first season at Old Trafford but is back on track this new term after adapting to Jose’s tactical requirements.

This season, the 21-year-old has been producing some of his best performances since arriving Old Trafford in the summer of 2015 from Ligue I side Monaco.

But despite his impressive performances, Jose has been alternating the France international with English youngster Marcus Rashford – who has also been incredible this season.

But Martial feels it is quite hard to build-up any momentum while he is spending so much time sitting on the bench.

Speaking recently to SFR Sport, the French star admits it is easier to start a game because a player who starts a game is already totally into the game, compared to when a player comes from the bench.

He also added that he has lots of faith in his qualities as a player, and that the manager also has confidence in him too.

‘So, it is up to me to continue putting in good performances’ Anthony said.

Martial is currently out of England for the international break, and will be coming back for his side’s next premier league game against Newcastle United on the 18th of November at Old Trafford.
