Injury boost! Chelsea’s Midfield maestro fully fit to face Manchester United

As the Blues return to training and start the process of learning from Tuesday’s clash, the team’s goalkeeper may not have anything to do with the show of shame in Rome against Roma. The biggest problem that Chelsea need to resolve by Sunday afternoon is the fitness of France international midfielder N’Golo Kanté, which has seen him miss all six matches in October after sustaining a hamstring injury while playing for his National team.

Antonio Conte had been hoping to have the midfield maestro back for Tuesday’s match already, and apparently waited until the last minute before kick-off in Rome, but the English Premier League Player of the Year eventually sidelined himself and then rated his chances of playing at just 50-50 for United clash.

But as per several reports, including the usual top outlets in the Telegraph, the Guardian, and the Mail, the Blues are sure that the midfielder will be prepared to return to football action by Sunday.

The Italian tactician has been very careful to not rushing Kanté back too soon, but he may be desperate enough to recall him for the United clash, especially, as the top news outlet The Telegraph reveals, midfielder Bakayoko playing with a lingering knee problem, Spaniard Cesc Fàbregas playing almost every minute so far this term, and England international Danny Drinkwater still recovering physically and tactically.
