This Is Jose Mourinho’s Problem At Man United, Legend Reveals

Rio Ferdinand

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Jose Mourinho’s problem at the Old Trafford is wanting to become ‘the form team in the Premier League’.

The Portuguese joined the Old Trafford in the summer of 2016 after months of speculation over the hot seat at the Theatre of Dreams. Mourinho has since then led the club to a number of victories as they won the Europa League, League Cup and Community Shield in his debut season.

United have continued in same form this season, winning several matches already this season and have got fans and pundits talking about their emphatic form. However, the Red Devils’ form have deteriorated due to injuries to some major players.

Speaking about his former side’s form, Rio Ferdinand talked about the instensity of the pressure at Manchester United having being at the club for a number of years, captaining them to countless successes during his time under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The former English defender then went on to talk about how the club invested during the last two seasons, bringing world class players to the club, leaving Mourinho with the pressure of delivering successes in the Premier League season in what could be a two-team race between Manchester United and Manchester City.
